The LEGOs from Scratch Club (Mr. Troy Andersen) will hold their first meeting next Tuesday, November 2nd from 3:15-4:15 p.m.

LEGOs from Scratch Club: Do you like creating with LEGOs? If so, the intramural LEGOs from Scratch Club is the place for you! Rather than following step-by-step instructions to build LEGO sets, students will use their imaginative minds to build their own creations using basic LEGO bricks and accessories. Each time the club meets students will be given a themed challenge-of-the-day to accomplish. Some of the themes could be Boat Building, Houses on Stilts, Crash Landings, Monster Creations, Bridge Attack, and more! Creations will be displayed within the school for others to see and enjoy. Come be creative with us!!!

Dates/Times: Tuesdays and Thursdays during November (except Thanksgiving week)/3:15-4:15pm

The Handball Club (Mr. Beck and Mrs. Ledingham) : November 9,11,16,18th from 3:15-4:00 p.m.

"Handball is a fascinating game played throughout five continents, by over 180 countries and 19 million people of all ages. Combining speed, strength, stamina, agility, technical precision, skill and teamwork, handball has become one of the fastest-paced and exciting Olympic sports. The objective of the game is to throw the ball into the opponent's goal. Defenders may use their body to make contact with attackers to prevent them from having a clear shot at goal. Attackers attempt to break through the defence or shoot over the top of them to score a goal. Two teams compete with 6 court players and 1 goalkeeper playing per team. Substitutions can be made at any time. Each goal counts as 1 point and games regularly finish with teams having scored over 20 points. Come join us while we learn to play this exciting game."

Dates/Times: November 9,11,16,18th from 3:15-4:00.
