Welcome Letter - please see our welcome letter for lots of valuable information to help this year get off to a great start ... it was emailed home and posted here for a quick grab.

WELCOME LETTER                CARTA DE BIENVENIDA

Lockers - Many students desire a locker, many do not.  Because of this, we do not assign a locker to every student. Students who desire a locker can select a locker to have on their own or to share with a friend.  Lockers can be requested by completing the following form or completing a form in the front office when you drop by.  There is no rush, there are plenty of lockers.  Once a locker is assigned, the locker number and combination will appear in the student’s Infinite Campus portal and on their schedule.

New to SCMS? We Look Forward to Meeting You!

If you are new to Spring Canyon, please start by registering your student.  Either refer to the Registration tab on our school website or click HERE - follow the steps as prompted.  If you have children in multiple schools, you can register them all in one setting.  However, make sure to note the course selection forms on our Spring Canyon Registration page so your student can select courses for the middle school.

Most fifth grade students from our 7 feeder elementary schools recently visited us and have likely registered for the 24-25 school year.  Whether you are a 5th grader who has already visited us or a new-to-the area student, please see the following link for a cheerful and informative e-book.

Welcome to SCMS!

STEM Classes Rise Up to Challenge

Submitted by angela.youd on

Two recent challenges given to our STEM students were to build a working mechanical crane with strawbees, and to build a tall tower with spaghetti noodles and marshmallows.  The students were very creative and came up with some fantastic models.  In every STEM challenge, the students are given requirements and guidelines to follow. They also get to use the STEM engineering process! Way to go STEM!
