STEM Classes Rise Up to Challenge
Two recent challenges given to our STEM students were to build a working mechanical crane with strawbees, and to build a tall tower with spaghetti noodles and marshmallows. The students were very creative and came up with some fantastic models. In every STEM challenge, the students are given requirements and guidelines to follow. They also get to use the STEM engineering process! Way to go STEM!
Operation Population
7th grade students learned about both the advantages and disadvantages that different types of reproduction can have on a population.
Reflections Contest
We had some amazing reflections entries this year! These kids worked so hard to present "How they will change the world". Great work, PACK!!
STEM Egg Drop Challenge
STEM students recently participated in an egg drop challenge. They worked very hard and made some very creative vessels!

Spanish Dual Immersion
6th grade dual immersion Spanish classes made 3D maps of the Nile River. Great work 6th graders!
Reading Bingo Winner!
Mrs. Fullmer in the Library creates many fun and engaging challenges for the students here at SCMS. Abigail completed the Reading Bingo challenge by reading 25 books already this year! Way to go Abigail!
