Quick reminder about our dress code - more information is in the bulletin, but here's a quick summary since this can become an issue in May.  Shorts need to be mid-thigh (fingertip length is a good rule of thumb), tummies need to be covered, and tank tops need a wide strap (no spaghetti straps).  Thank you in advance!

​Recordatorio rápido sobre nuestro código de vestimenta: encontrará más información en el boletín, pero aquí hay un resumen rápido, ya que esto puede convertirse en un problema en mayo. Los pantalones cortos deben llegar hasta la mitad del muslo (la longitud de las yemas de los dedos es una buena regla general), el abdomen debe estar cubierto y las camisetas sin mangas deben tener un tirante ancho (sin tirantes finos). ¡Gracias de antemano!

STEM takes action!

STEM classes have been having a lot of fun! While learning norms of collaboration, STEM students designed and built a boat using one small sheet of aluminum foil that held as many pennies as possible without sinking, tried to solve the Tower of Hanoi puzzle while learning team norms of collaboration,  learned how to work as teams while making a human knot and trying to untangle the knot, designed and made boats out of clay that held as many beans as possible, completed an experiment where they put eggs in a cup of vinegar.

Intramural Survey

Attention all 6th and 7th graders - we sent an email to each of your student accounts asking for your vote for which activities you would like us to schedule for intramurals.  Each student gets up to 10 choices to vote for.  Voting will remain open thru Fri, Sept 3.  Here is the voting form if you cannot find it in your email.  We would love to hear from each one of ou

PTA Reflections Contest

Reflections theme this year 2021-2022 is: "I WILL CHANGE THE WORLD BY..."  

Reflections is easier than ever, because now everything is done online! Your child can enter one original work for each category: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, 2D Visual Arts, and 3D Visual Arts. (There is also a special artist division for any student with special needs.) Please read all rules BEFORE starting a project! Deadline for entries is Friday October 1st.

Picture day is coming up!! On Thursday August 26 in your science class every student will be getting their picture taken.  You can bring money in the envelope on picture day, OR you can pay online at www.bellphoto.com and use code: Springcanyonms21
